Choosing between two image upscalers for my kid's soccer photos, one crushed it
Last month I had about 40 blurry action shots from my daughter's soccer game in Fresno and I wanted to print a few for her grandparents. I couldn't decide between two upscalers, one that was fast and one that was slower but had a sharper look, so I ran both on the same ten photos. The fast one finished in about 20 seconds each but made faces look waxy, which was a dealbreaker. The slow one took almost 4 minutes per photo but kept the grass and jersey numbers crisp. I ended up running the slow one overnight on all 40 and printed 6 of them at Walgreens for $14 total. Anyone else run into that speed vs quality tradeoff with these tools? Which one do you stick with for family stuff?
