My AI assistant picked a fight with my smart fridge

I set up a new voice assistant last week to help with grocery lists, but it kept arguing with my older fridge's system. The AI would add 'organic almond milk' and the fridge would delete it, saying we had two cartons. Turns out, the fridge was counting empty boxes I forgot to throw out. I had to pick between retraining the AI's vision model or just cleaning my fridge. I chose the cleaning, which took about twenty minutes. Has anyone else had their smart home gadgets start a weird data war?

My old Roomba used to get into a turf war with my automatic cat feeder. It would try to vacuum around it every morning at 7:05, but the feeder would spin out to drop food at 7:07. For a month I had this weird circle of kibble on the floor because the Roomba kept pushing it around. I finally had to make a little physical barrier out of a textbook so they would stop fighting. Honestly, it feels like my house runs a daycare for stubborn robots sometimes.
