My AI proofreading tool just flagged a typo in its own output
Happened yesterday while I was testing a new grammar model for work. The thing caught a misspelling in its own suggested rewrite, which made me question how much I can trust these tools. Has anyone else seen their AI contradict itself like that?

Honestly a friend of mine was using one of those AI writing assistants for work emails and it randomly suggested replacing "their" with "there" in a sentence where "their" was correct. He showed me the screenshot and the AI basically argued with itself about grammar rules it created. Kinda makes you wonder if these things are just guessing with confidence.

Oh yeah I had one try to fix a perfectly fine sentence and turned it into gibberish.
