Spent three hours trying to get a new image generator to make a simple picture of a cat wearing a hat.

Wait, three whole hours? I mean, it's a cat with a hat, not some crazy detailed scene. That seems like a really long time for something that simple.

Read a piece the other day about how these newer image generators actually get worse with simpler prompts because they're trained on all these wild, artistic concepts. The system overcomplicates everything, so a basic "cat wearing a hat" ends up getting interpreted as some abstract mess. Happens all the time with these models, they can't just do normal stuff anymore. Did you try adding something like "photorealistic" or drawing the shape yourself first?

Honestly I used to think like @adams.faith too. But these image things are so weird about simple stuff, they'll give you a dragon in a spacesuit before a normal cat in a hat lol. You just end up fighting with the words forever.
