Vent: My team's AI chatbot got WORSE after we "upgraded" it
We switched to a newer model from OpenAI three weeks ago and now it argues with customers about their own orders. Before, it could handle about 80% of tickets without a human touching them, now it's closer to half and support staff in our Austin office are drowning. Anyone else seen a regression like this after a supposedly "better" update?

Oh man, this is exactly what happened to us! I used to roll my eyes at people complaining about model updates, figured newer always meant better. But after we switched three months ago, our bot started "correcting" customers on shipping dates even when the order history clearly showed delays on our end. It got so bad that my whole view flipped, now I'm convinced these upgrades are more about marketing than actual real-world improvement. We actually had to roll back to the old version after two weeks because our team was drowning in angry follow-ups. Have you guys tried switching back, or are you stuck with the new one for now?

Rolling back saved our sanity too. Old version was ugly but it worked, that's what matters.
