Watching a demo of a new image generator made me ditch my old workflow

I was convinced my detailed text prompts were the key, but seeing it nail a concept from a single rough sketch in 2 seconds flipped a switch. Anyone else get stubborn about a method before a simple demo proved you wrong?

Man, wasn't that a weird time? I saw a post the other day where someone was still insisting on a specific format like it was magic. Feels like we spent months on that only for the tech to change and make most of it pointless. All that energy for something that got solved by just... talking to it normally.
