Hit 1000 AI generated images in one night and felt disgusted
Was messing around with that new image model from Stability last night, the one that dropped on Tuesday. Ended up generating over 1000 pictures of cats in weird historical outfits before I even realized what I was doing. It took less than 2 hours and most of them looked better than stuff I slave over in Photoshop for days. Anyone else feel kinda weird about how fast this stuff is getting?

1000 images in 2 hours does sound like a lot, but feeling disgusted over it seems a bit dramatic. It's just a tool at the end of the day, and Photoshop took a lot of heat when it first came out too. Maybe take a step back and ask if this is really something to lose sleep over.

Is it really that different from a photographer setting up a rig to shoot 1000 product shots automatically in the same time frame? The disgust seems less about the speed and more about the fact that a cheap subscription is putting that power in everyone's hands, not just the pros. At the end of the day, the market will sort out what's actually worth paying for, and no tool can make up for bad taste or a weak concept.
