Tried asking Claude to summarize my work emails with a specific tone filter and it went weird
I told it to make everything sound like a friendly scoutmaster and it turned a budget cut notice into a campfire story about learning to do more with less. Has anyone else hit a weird personality preset that threw off their whole workflow by accident?

Was this scoutmaster thing Claude's idea or did you tell it to do that? I had mine call every email "sport" once and it turned a vendor termination into this weirdly cheerful pep talk about new beginnings. Did you notice it starting to drift mid-conversation too or did it just go full campfire from the first response?

Wait, it called everyone "sport" in actual business emails? That's wild! @barbara278 I would have lost it if my AI started doing that in serious work conversations. With mine, the scoutmaster thing was totally its own idea. I didn't tell it to act like that, it just started calling tasks "merit badges" and telling me I was doing a "fine job, troop member." It didn't drift slowly either, it went full campfire right out of the gate. I ended up just closing the chat and starting over because I couldn't stop laughing long enough to get any real work done.
