Wasted $80 on a Midjourney subscription I barely touched for 3 months

Signed up for Midjourney thinking I'd make all these AI graphics for my side project, but after 90 days I only generated like 20 images total. Anyone else pay for an AI tool and realize you way overestimated how much you'd actually use it?

Wasted $80 on a Midjourney subscription" yeah I did the exact same thing with another AI tool. What worked for me was treating it like a gym membership - I set a reminder on my phone for every Sunday night to sit down and mess with it for 15 minutes. I also started using it for specific small tasks instead of trying to make big complicated graphics. Like I'd use it to make a quick header image for a blog post or a thumbnail for a video, nothing fancy. After a few weeks it just became part of my routine and now I actually get my money's worth out of it.

Right, because the other 14 minutes I saved that month really made up for the $80. At least you can print out the 20 images and frame them as a monument to poor financial planning.

Print them out and frame them as a monument to poor financial planning" - ha, that's brutal but I love it. Honestly I'm more shocked you only saved 14 minutes a month. I was over here thinking AI tools were saving people hours, not minutes. Did you time yourself with a stopwatch or are you just that precise about your workflow?
