Bought a $70 air fryer liner set and it was a total scam

I got this pack of silicone liners off Amazon for like $70 thinking they'd save me cleanup time. Put one in for some chicken wings at 400 degrees and the whole thing shriveled up into a tiny melted mess. The holes in the bottom of the basket got blocked too so the air couldn't circulate right. Has anyone else tried those and had better luck or is there a cheaper hack that actually works?

Total waste of money honestly. Silicone liners at that price should handle 400 degrees no problem. Stick with plain old parchment paper cut to fit, costs pennies and works way better.

Agree with @barbarbara278 on this one. Bought a set of those silicone liners last year cause everyone raves about them. First time I used mine on a baking sheet at 375 they curled up and stained after one use. Parchment paper never lets me down. You can buy a giant roll at the grocery store for like 3 bucks and it lasts forever. Plus if you're lazy like me you just crumple it up and toss it after cooking. No scrubbing required.
