Changed my mind about frozen fries in the air fryer

I always thought fresh cut fries were the only way to go, but last Tuesday I tried a bag of frozen shoestring fries on a whim. They came out perfectly crispy in 12 minutes with zero prep work. Has anyone else had good luck with specific frozen brands?

12 minutes is a bit long for shoestring fries... they burn easy at 400.

Wait, you're telling me 12 minutes is too long? I thought I was just making charcoal fries with a side of potato. Guess I should've checked my oven's mood before trusting the recipe. Next time I'll set a timer for 8 minutes and hope my smoke alarm doesn't join the party again.
