Found out my air fryer basket holds exactly 1.7 pounds of chicken wings and I feel lied to by the box
I was meal prepping on Sunday and decided to actually weigh my wings for once instead of eyeballing it like I always do. The manual for my 5.8 quart fryer says it holds 3 pounds, but once the wings were piled in there and I could still close the drawer, the scale said 1.7 pounds. Turns out that 3 pound number is for like, a whole chicken or something flat that fits the basket shape. I ended up cooking in two batches and now I want to know if anyone else has weighed their food before cooking, or am I the only one who trusted the box for 2 years?
