Heard a guy at the hardware store say air fryers are just for frozen junk

I was picking up some traps last Tuesday and overheard a customer tell the clerk, 'Those things are only good for tater tots and chicken nuggets.' It really got me thinking about how wrong that is. I've been making whole roasted carrots and even small batches of granola in mine for months. Why do people still think it's a one trick pony? What's the best real food you've cooked that would prove him wrong?

Made salmon fillets last night that were perfect, way better than my oven. That guy has no idea what he's talking about lol.

Try making a small whole fish in one, that always shuts people up. The skin gets super crisp while the inside stays moist, something a regular oven just doesn't do as well for a single portion. It's basically a tiny, super efficient convection oven, so you can cook almost anything that fits. That guy at the store is missing out on a seriously useful kitchen tool.
