I argued with my wife about air frying a whole chicken for months
She kept saying it would dry out and be a mess, but I tried it last weekend with a 4-pound bird. I rubbed it with oil and salt, cooked it at 360 degrees for about 50 minutes, turning it once. The skin got super crispy and the meat was still juicy, not dry at all. I was totally wrong to doubt it. What other big things have you cooked in the air fryer that people said wouldn't work?

Nice! I tried a whole turkey breast last month and it came out perfect too.

The breast is honestly the way to go for most people. Dark meat fans get mad but a well done turkey breast beats dry legs and thighs any day. Plus you don't have to deal with the whole carcass situation afterward. Leftovers slice up perfect for sandwiches too.

That "I was totally wrong" feeling is pretty common. People just get stuck on how things "should" be done.
