My sister-in-law in Phoenix said something about frozen food that changed my air fryer game
She was over for dinner and saw me pulling a bag of frozen fries from the oven. She just said, 'You know, your air fryer will do that in half the time and they'll be way crispier.' I had only used mine for fresh stuff like chicken or veggies, so I never even thought to try frozen things. I gave it a shot with some frozen potato wedges, and she was totally right. They were done in about 12 minutes and had that perfect crunch I could never get from my regular oven. Now I use it for all sorts of frozen stuff, from onion rings to those little mini tacos. It feels like I unlocked a whole new part of the machine. What other frozen foods have you guys had good luck with in the air fryer?

You said you pulled fries from the oven, but that's the key thing. An air fryer is basically a small, super powerful convection oven. So it's doing the same job, just way faster because the hot air moves around the small space so quickly. That's why frozen stuff works so well, it gets that heat blast from all sides.

Yeah exactly, "the heat blast from all sides" is the whole thing. @the_charles nailed it with that. Regular ovens just kind of hang there with hot air, but an air fryer really throws it at the food. That's why frozen stuff like those pizza rolls gets that perfect crunch on the outside while staying soft inside. Even with something like chicken tenders, you get that fried texture without all the oil sitting on them. The small space just makes everything cook so much faster and more even, it's hard to go back once you get used to it.

Frozen pizza rolls are a game changer in the air fryer. Gets that crispy shell without the soggy middle. @the_charles has a point about the convection thing, but the basket shaking makes a big difference too.
