Showerthought: My frozen pizza disaster last Tuesday made me realize the air fryer is basically a tiny, angry oven.
I was rushing to make dinner in my Chicago apartment and threw a frozen pizza in the air fryer at 400 degrees, only to watch the cheese instantly melt and slide right off the crust into the basket, leaving me with a sad, naked pizza and a cheesy mess that took me 15 minutes to scrub clean.

Hear me out, but the air fryer is more of a "helpful jerk" than an angry one. It did exactly what you told it to do (400 degrees), just way faster than you expected. The real mistake was trusting a frozen pizza in that tiny firebox.
