TIL my old oven fries used a whole cup of oil, now I just spray them.
Switched to an air fryer after my electric bill hit $150 in December. Anyone got a good trick for extra crispy skins?

Just add a little cornstarch.

Oh perfect, @lee733. That's the secret weapon for basically any sauce that's too thin. I keep a little bowl next to the stove just for mixing a teaspoon of cornstarch with cold water before stirring it in. It thickens things up without making them gloopy like flour sometimes does.
