Took 4 days to realize my air fryer was 50 degrees off

Finally got a probe thermometer and my 400° setting was actually cooking at 350°, no wonder my chicken kept coming out rubbery. Has anyone else had to recalibrate or just shift cooking times to fix this?

Honestly I used to think people were just being dramatic about checking their air fryer temps, figured it was close enough. Then I got one of those cheap probe thermometers on a whim and found mine runs about 30 degrees hot on the lower settings. That changes everything for how you time wings or fries, I was basically cooking everything blind before. Now I just shift my temps down and add a few minutes if I'm doing something thick like a pork chop. It's annoying but honestly better than ending up with dry chicken every single time.
