A graybeard at the Montgomery hangar told me a 737 tire gets swapped every 300 landings, and I can't tell if that number is too high or too low

Half the guys I've asked say 300 cycles makes sense given the wear rates we actually see, and the other half swear it should be way sooner based on the rubber they've pulled off, so I want to know what the folks here actually go by in the real world.
