A student pilot at the local airfield told me something that made my week
I was finishing up an oil change on a Cessna 172 last Saturday at the Riverside airfield, and a young student pilot named Leo was watching. He said, 'I never really thought about who keeps these things safe until I saw you checking every single fitting twice.' It was just a simple comment, but it stuck with me because it came from someone on the other side of the ramp. Anyone else have a moment where someone outside the shop made you feel like the work really matters?

Actually mail carriers do a pretty tough job most people don't see. They're out in all kinds of weather dealing with heavy packages and weird dogs. It's easy to take that service for granted.
