Rant: dropped $89 on a "lifetime" cuff tool from a van vendor and it snapped on my third clamp job
The guy swore it was the same steel the airlines use, but the jaw cracked on a simple fuel line clamp at the hangar and he was gone the next week. Anyone got a brand that actually holds up, or am I stuck buying the $200 one like everyone keeps telling me?
Snapped on the THIRD clamp job? That is wild. I would be so mad. The guy told you it was airline steel and it broke on a simple fuel line clamp? That is not even a hard job. Sounds like he just said whatever to make a sale and then skipped town. I feel for you, $89 down the drain plus now you gotta buy a whole new tool anyway.
