Switched from a generic torque wrench to a Snap-on TechAngle for a 737 flap actuator job
We had a job on a 737-800 last month that called for a specific 120 inch-pound setting on a critical bolt. The old wrench we had was okay, but the TechAngle's digital angle measurement and click feedback were a total game changer. It eliminated the guesswork on the final turn, especially in the tight space near the wing root. Anyone else made a specific tool upgrade that just made a tricky task feel simple?

Sounds a bit over the top for a bolt. A good torque wrench and a steady hand have worked for decades. Not every job needs the fanciest tool in the box.

Worked for decades" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. My dad's "steady hand" is why our patio table only has three legs.

Bought into that same thinking for years, that skill alone should be enough. But then I spent a whole weekend fighting a stripped bolt on my car, broke two wrenches and nearly put my fist through the garage wall. A friend let me borrow his torque wrench with the clicky setting, job was done in five minutes flat. Sometimes you need the tool that takes the guesswork out, not just the one that feels old school. That patio table sounds like a perfect example, a little precision would have saved a lot of hassle.
