Tbh, after a flap motor seized, I don't buy the 'lube is lube' argument.

Honestly, using the wrong grease can lock up a system fast.

Wow, I used to be pretty casual about using whatever grease was on hand. Seeing a similar seizure happen right in front of me was a real eye-opener. Now I check the spec sheet every single time.

@keithw59 makes a good point. Skipping specs can wreck equipment fast. Seen too many avoidable failures because of it.

Man, that reminds me of my neighbor who used any old oil in his mower. Burned the engine out in half a season.
