Cellular dialer vs old phone line, 2 service calls later I switched back
We had a site in Toledo that insisted on a cellular communicator. Sales pushed it hard, said it was the future. First month, no issues. Then the signal dropped in their steel building, three false alarms in a week. The customer was pissed. Went back twice to adjust the antenna, move the unit, all that. Finally wired in a plain POTS dialer last Tuesday and it just works. Zero callbacks since. Has anyone else had customers push for cellular and regret it down the line?
