I finally gave in and tried that new wireless glass break sensor from the trade show.

Thought it was just marketing junk, but it caught a baseball through a window at a job in Tempe last week when the hardwired system was still being patched. Anyone have a good source for the mounting brackets that doesn't charge an arm and a leg?

Wait, was that the demo where they threw a softball at a pane of glass? I saw that at the show and figured it was a total setup... like they used special glass or something. Makes me wonder if I should grab a couple for my own house, honestly. The bracket thing is a pain though, I ended just using some heavy duty double sided tape on a test unit.

Didn't some guy on YouTube test that exact demo? He bought the glass and tried it himself, and it actually held up. Makes you wonder if the show was legit after all.
