My wife asked me why we never put a sensor on the back of the detached garage, and I couldn't give her a good answer.
She just pointed out that we always focus on the main house and ignore the outbuildings, which made me realize we're probably leaving a major gap in coverage for a lot of our clients.

Your mileage may vary' is right. My neighbor had some old fishing gear in his garage that got stolen. I had an old baseball card collection in mine that I forgot about for years. Nobody touched it though, maybe they just didn't know what they were looking at.
