Caught my first silver salmon on the Kenai River this weekend after 7 years of trying

I was using a hot pink Vibrax spinner on a cloudy Saturday near the Soldotna bridge and it hit so hard I almost dropped my rod, anyone else have a fish that completely changed where they fish?

Wait, pink Vibrax is your go to at Soldotna? I always figured that was too bright for that water. I've only ever used copper or silver there. Did you tie the pink one on yourself or buy it like that?
