I always figured the extra $200 for a guided halibut trip out of Homer was a tourist trap. Went on one last Thursday and we limited out in under two hours.

Guess that extra cash was just for the captain to speedrun the ocean. You paid for a full day charter and got a halibut drive-thru. Bet the crew was just as shocked as you were.
