That one day the Northern Lights were so bright they woke me up
It was a Tuesday in March, maybe 2 AM, and the green light coming through my window in Talkeetna was so strong I thought my neighbor had a weird floodlight on. I stumbled outside in my boots and saw the whole sky rippling with purple and red, something I've only seen that strong once before. It was dead quiet except for the snow crunching, and it just went on for over an hour. Anyone else had a show that was actually loud in its silence like that?
