Wasted $300 on a cheap ice fishing shelter from Amazon last month

The poles snapped on the second trip out on Harding Lake and the fabric ripped in a light wind, has anyone found a reliable brand that actually holds up to Alaska winters?

@briancampbell you're not alone, Amazon shelters are basically just heavy duty tarps with poles. Look into the Eskimo Quickfish series, they hold up way better than anything you'll find on Amazon. Been using mine for three seasons now on the Chena with no issues.

Yeah, mine ripped on the first gust of wind too.
