Am I the only one who counted 14 different anime subs in one season and just stopped trying to keep up
I sat down in March to start the spring season and my queue had 14 shows on it. By May I was caught up on 2. Now I just pick 3 per season and let the rest go, feels way less like homework. How many do you all actually finish each season?
Its the same thing that happened with streaming services for me. I had like six of them at one point and spent more time scrolling through menus than actually watching anything. Same with my Steam backlog, same with podcasts, same with books on my shelf. We just keep stacking stuff up because having options feels good in the moment, but then the pile gets so big that picking anything feels like a chore. So yeah, capping it at 3 per season makes total sense. You actually get to enjoy what you're watching instead of treating it like a checklist you're failing at. I do the same thing now and honestly I finish more shows than I ever did when I was trying to keep up with everything.
