Appreciation post: The "skip 10 seconds back" button is my anime marathon MVP
I used to waste so much time rewinding on Crunchyroll trying to find where I zoned out, usually during the 5th episode in a row. Then I realized the J key on my keyboard skips exactly 10 seconds back, and now I catch every plot drop without missing a beat in my 12-episode stretch last night. Anybody else got a keyboard shortcut they swear by for binge sessions?

Actually I just read a study that said people who use keyboard shortcuts for streaming actually retain more info because they rewatch specific moments intentionally instead of zoning out for full minutes. Huge disagree with @ryan719 on this one. The 10 second skip on J is way more precise than dragging a slider, especially when you overshoot the scene you wanted. Plus you can spam it five times and go back almost a minute without even looking at the screen, which is perfect for when your eyes glazed over during that exposition dump in episode 7. Manual dragging is way slower and you risk catching the timestamp wrong and missing the important line anyway.

Woah, I totally disagree with you there. Honestly, those keyboard shortcuts just make me lazier and I miss even more stuff because I'm mashing buttons instead of paying attention. Plus when you skip back 10 seconds five times in a row you waste way more time than just manually dragging the slider where you want it. Why not just pause the episode when you zone out instead of relying on a crutch like that?
