Can we talk about how I was reading anime threads wrong for months?

I kept jumping into episode discussions on the main subreddit, getting mad when people just posted 'peak fiction' with no details. Then my friend in Chicago pointed me to a smaller forum where you have to write at least 100 words to start a thread. The rule forced actual analysis and I realized I was just in the wrong place for real talk. What's the best spot you've found for getting past the one-word hype posts?

That 100 word rule sounds great. The real trick is finding a place with active mods who actually enforce their own rules.
