Finally got my hands on the 'Cowboy Bebop' Blu-ray box set

Spent about $80 on it after hunting for a decent price for ages, and the picture quality is so much better than my old, scratched DVDs. It feels good to have a clean copy of the whole series that won't skip during the best scenes. What's the one show you've upgraded that felt totally worth the cash?

Honestly, I'm on the other side with this one. I bought the fancy remaster of 'Samurai Champloo' and it just felt... off. The colors were too bright and clean, it lost that gritty, textured look of the old DVDs. Sometimes the upgrade smooths out the soul of the thing. My old set had character, even with the scratches.

Man, I know that feeling. I finally upgraded my old, beat-up copy of 'The Wire' on DVD. The new set was so clear I could actually read the text on the drug bags for the first time. I felt like a detective solving a whole new layer of the show. My wallet was mad, but my eyes were very happy.
