Just hit my 200th anime review comment and it got me thinking
I started leaving comments on a forum for a show called Steins;Gate like 4 months ago. Yesterday I checked and I've written 200 separate reviews or reactions. I never thought I'd stick with it that long, but breaking down episodes piece by piece really changes how you see the story. Has anyone else tracked how many times they post in these threads?

The real magic happens when you start noticing callbacks and foreshadowing you completely missed the first time. Breaking down Steins;Gate episode by episode made me catch details like the specific dates on the D-mails and how they line up with world line shifts. Plus seeing how other people react to the same scenes brings up interpretations you'd never consider on your own. At 200 reviews you've probably noticed your own writing style changing too.

Yeah my writing style definitely went through some changes, mostly just me getting more long winded honestly. I think back in the first 50 reviews I was just like "this episode was good, sad ending" and now my dumb self is writing paragraphs about how a specific camera angle mirrors a character's emotional state or something. Its kind of funny looking back because I cringe at some of my old reviews but hey, thats growth I guess. Your mileage may vary on whether the new style is actually an improvement though.
