Just saw my MAL completed list hit 500 shows... and it feels weird

I was just updating my list on MyAnimeList the other day, adding a short series I finished, and the number jumped to 500 completed. It made me stop and think... I remember when hitting 100 felt like a huge deal back in high school. Back then, I'd watch anything I could find, from the big stuff on Toonami to weird DVDs from the library. Now, I scroll through pages of titles and half of them I only vaguely remember. It's not about collecting a number anymore, I guess. It's more about the few shows that really stuck with me, like the feeling I got from 'Mushishi' or rewatching 'Cowboy Bebop' for the tenth time. The 500 just shows how much time has passed and how my taste has changed. Has anyone else hit a number on their list that made them look back like that?

Yeah that weird milestone feeling is real. I remember hitting 100 days on a project and suddenly feeling like I was running on fumes for no clear reason. Had to totally switch up my routine just to get the spark back.
