My old anime forum just shut down after 15 years

The site, OtakuCentral, went offline for good last Tuesday. I found out because my login just failed and the domain was parked. It was where I first talked about shows like 'Gurren Lagann' back in 2007. What's a good place to go now that actually has real discussion and not just listicles?

Man, that's rough. I always wonder who ends up with the old forum archives (like, the actual database files). Some random server admin just sitting on years of inside jokes and terrible fan theories.

I mean, I'd probably be the admin hoarding all the bad takes. My old LiveJournal is proof I never learn.
