Rant: I switched from subs to dubs on my rewatch of FMA Brotherhood and now I can't go back
I watched Brotherhood subbed back in high school, probably 4 or 5 times all the way through. Then last month a buddy in Austin kept pushing me to try the dub for a rewatch. I fought it for like two weeks. Finally gave in on episode 1 and finished the whole 64 episode run in 11 days.
Here's my problem now. The dub just hit different for me. Ed's voice, the jokes landing better, not having to read while eating. But half the people I talk to act like watching dub is a crime.
So which side are you on? Do you stick with subs no matter what, or does it depend on the show? And if you're a sub purist, what's the actual reason, is it accuracy or is it just habit at this point?
