Rant: People keep saying 'filler arc' wrong about older anime

I was rewatching some early Naruto episodes from 2003 and saw a thread where someone called the whole Land of Waves arc filler, which is just factually wrong since it's straight from the manga. It matters because it changes how new viewers approach the show, skipping stuff that actually builds the characters. Did you have a moment where you realized fan terminology was being used incorrectly?

Man, @ericfox, I'm pretty sure their definition is "any episode I didn't like." It's gotten completely meaningless.
