Remember when we all argued about subs vs dubs in the school library?

I mean, this was back in like 2010 at my high school's anime club. We had this one meeting where a new kid brought a fansub of a show on a burned DVD, and half the room groaned about reading subtitles. The debate got so loud the librarian had to shush us. Now, I feel like nobody even cares, everyone just streams whatever version is available instantly. It's weird how that whole fight just faded away. Does your local group still have those old school arguments, or is it all just about what's new on Crunchyroll?

That "loud debate" thing is so real. My buddy's club had a shouting match over dubs that ended with someone's bag of chips getting knocked over and crushed.

Did they at least save the chips? I once got so heated about subs I almost spilled my own drink.
