The moment I realized I was skipping the filler episode explanation wrong

I used to skip every anime filler episode without thinking, bragging about it in threads like it was a smart move. Then last month a friend asked me why a character in Naruto suddenly had a new jutsu that came from nowhere. I checked and it was explained in a filler arc I skipped. Now I at least read summaries before writing off 12 episodes, you know? Anybody else have a filler moment that bit them later?

Yeah that Naruto filler thing got me too lol. I used to skip all of them until I missed the one where they explain how Rock Lee's dad taught him that hidden lotus move or whatever. Had to go back and watch like 8 episodes just to understand a single fight scene. Now I at least check a filler guide on reddit before skipping anything
