TIL that buying a Crunchyroll subscription for the backlog was a total mistake

I paid $8 a month for a year thinking I'd finally watch all those classic shonen series I missed. Turns out the dub delays are horrible and half the shows I wanted weren't even on there. Has anyone else gotten stuck paying for a service with no good way to cancel mid-year?

Tell me about it. I signed up for the free trial once and then spent a whole weekend trying to remember why I keep forgetting about their streaming service. The worst part was when I finally found a show I wanted, it was only available in the horribly compressed 480p version from 2008. You'd think with that monthly fee they could at least give us subtitles that aren't delayed by three seconds.

The 480p thing is kind of charming in a nostalgic way though...
