Took me 3 hours to figure out why my Crunchyroll subtitles were 2 seconds off

Ngl I spent way too long on this last night. I was binging the new season of Demon Slayer and suddenly the subs were lagging behind the audio by a solid 2 seconds. Drove me crazy. I restarted my router, cleared the cache, even reinstalled the app on my Fire Stick. Took me a full 3 hours to realize it was my soundbar messing with the audio sync in passthrough mode. Soon as I switched it to stereo, everything lined up perfectly. Has anyone else dealt with a weird hardware catch like that ruining their watch session?

Did you try adjusting the audio delay settings in the source menu first?

Yeah, that's usually the fix. HDMI handshake stuff is always a hassle.
