Chose OEM part over aftermarket for a Bosch dishwasher, glad I did

Had a client in Oak Park with a leaking sump on a 3 year old Bosch. Aftermarket was 38 bucks, OEM was 91. I went with OEM because the tolerance fit matters on those German units. Took 45 minutes to swap, zero leaks so far on the test cycle. Anyone else stick to factory parts on Bosch or am I just being paranoid about the cheap stuff?

Hang on, you said it took 45 minutes but the real time sink with these Bosch units is getting the door seal lined back up. That's where most guys screw up and blame the part. Not saying the OEM choice was wrong, the plastic impeller on the cheap ones does warp. But 45 minutes is fast unless you've done a dozen of these. The tolerances matter on the sump gasket, not really the pump housing itself. I've seen aftermarket work fine if you torque the screws in the right order and don't overtighten. The part isn't the whole story.
