Had a dryer drum lock up on me mid-cycle yesterday

It was a Whirlpool from 2018 and the glides had worn down to nothing. Took me 20 minutes to pull it apart and replace the glides and felt seal. Anyone else run into these plastic glides failing way faster than the old style?

Wait, are we sure the timer didn't start after they already had half the stuff laid out? lol. I swear my neighbor tried to pull that trick once - said he replaced a faucet in 15 minutes but forgot to mention he already had the water shut off and tools out. 20 minutes for a whole job like that sounds like either they skipped a step or they're secretly a superhero in a disguise. Either way, I'd be double checking that work for the next few days just to be safe. No way that's normal unless they've done it a thousand times.
