I checked my own work against the manual for once and it changed my mind about OEM parts
I used to think aftermarket parts were just as good for washer repairs, but last Tuesday I dug into a Samsung manual that showed a 0.2mm tolerance difference on a drain pump seal. That tiny gap caused a leak that ruined a customer's floor, and now I'm not so sure OEM is a waste of money. Has anyone else run into spec differences like that?

Happens more often than people realize. Those half-millimeter spec differences add up across moving parts and heat cycles until something fails. Gets me wondering how many other shortcuts we accept just because we don't see the manual.

Yeah, and it's wild how often the manual is ignored or buried somewhere nobody bothers to check. People just assume close enough is good enough until it isn't.
