I stopped replacing thermal fuses on dryers and started finding the real short first
Got called out to a laundry room in Mesa where the owner was on her 4th fuse in 2 months and I almost just swapped another one like everyone says to. Instead I ohmed out the heater element and found it shorted to the housing, replaced the element and coil for $85 in parts, and that dryer has been running 6 months now with no callbacks. Anyone else getting tired of the swap and hope method or is it just me?
