Laser level was a ripoff until I had to set 12 fridges in one day
I always thought those Bosch laser levels were overpriced for appliance work. Last month a new apartment complex needed all their refrigerators leveled and aligned. After hand leveling the first 3 units in 45 minutes I gave in and bought the GLL30 from the supply house down the street. Finished the other 9 in under 2 hours with zero callbacks. Has anyone else found a tool they swore they didn't need that ended up saving their back?

Well now you're talking my language. I fought buying a good laser level for years, thought my old bubble level was fine. Then I had to do a kitchen with 17 wall cabinets that all needed to be dead level with each other. Borrowed my neighbor's self-leveling laser and had everything marked in 20 minutes. The next day I ordered my own and never looked back. My advice is don't cheap out on the tripod though, the cheap ones wobble and it messes up your whole line. Also get one with the pulse mode if you work outside, the dot gets invisible real quick in sunlight.
