Betcha your knuckles are glad you finally figured that out. Nothing like fighting a stubborn bolt only to realize you were the problem the whole time.

I mean, is a scraped knuckle really that big of a deal? People act like they lost a finger over a socket wrench. You get a little blood, a little dirt, you slap a bandaid on it and move on with your day. It's not like you're performing surgery with a rusty crowbar. Honestly, I've seen folks treat a stripped bolt like it's a personal betrayal. It's just metal, people.
