Chipped 3 chains before I figured out my stump cutting angle

For 2 years I cut stumps same way, blade flat against the wood. Kept chipping chains. Replaced 3 this spring. Then a guy in Eugene watched me and said, drop the nose 15 degrees. That slight angle lets the teeth grab wood instead of grinding dirt. Instant difference. Barely touched a file since. Anyone else ever have a simple angle fix change their whole cut?
